School is Out

One day in Battambang, Cambodia, we were walking around and we saw a commotion ahead of us. We got closer to check it out and we saw the most amazing scene. It was a primary school being let out for the day.
The school occupied a whole block. There were older children who were assigned to block the strreet at both ends of the block who were taking their job quite seriously.
At either end there was a chaotic mass of bicycles and motorbikes waiting to pick up kids. When the kids came out through the gate all hell broke loose with parents trying to get the kids on their bikes. You can see from the first picture that they maybe had a neighbour kid or two on the bikes as well! We showed the man the picture and he had a good laugh at it.
